Kinda of good because something is happening and agreements are being made but I kinda hoped to see greater harmonisation across client languages. Javascript is competing with Java, Actionscript and Silverlight (supporting Ruby & Python as part of its DLR) for the client-side web application space. I dunno, maybe everything will end up being generated anyway.

Journalism have updated their live text commentary so you don't have to force a full page refresh every 60 seconds to get new updates. I thought it might be using some socket based thing but it's just polling :( Works nicely though :)
